What is travel insurance?

Trip Insurance covers your vacation/trip from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip. Gulf Coast Property Management has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide Sun Trip Preserver® coverage for you. The plan is optional, but we strongly recommend it. In case of any unforeseen events, this insurance helps protect your vacation investment. 

What is the benefit of purchasing travel insurance?

With travel insurance you’ll have peace of mind know that whatever life throws your way, your vacation investment remains safe and secure.

Here are some of the events covered in this policy:

  • Medical issues that delay your trip or occur during your vacation
  • Severe weather, hurricanes or natural disasters
  • Sickness, injury, or death — to you, a family member, or your traveling companion

When is the best time to purchase travel Insurance?

The best time to purchase the plan is when you make your initial trip deposit. To qualify for the pre-existing conditions exclusion waiver, the plan must be purchased within 21 days of your initial trip deposit. Your prompt purchase ensures that you are afforded the fullest protection provided by this plan

What Happens if a Hurricane hits?

The Sun Trip Preserver plan may protect you by providing reimbursement for pre-paid, non-refundable trip deposits in the event the trip is cancelled or interrupted if a mandatory evacuation due to a named hurricane or other natural disaster causes you to have only 4 days or 50% or less of Your trip length remaining at the time the mandatory evacuation ends; or if the roadways are closed due to a natural disaster preventing you from reaching your destination

Can I cancel my plan and get my premium back

You may cancel plan your plan and receive a full refund of premium paid by giving your property manager written notice within 14 days from the purchase date of your plan, provided You have not filed a claim under the plan or departed for your trip.
